Odete OOAK Statement Necklace

Last week I've tried a new medium for my flowers - cold porcelain clay. What can I say? For some projects like Ranunculus, blooming Roses or another type of petal-full flowers, cold porcelain clay is better than polymer clay. It's pretty sticky, but petals could be made very thin - polymer clay doesn't allow it. For a flower like Hydrangea, Daffodil or Lily polymer clay definitely is better.

Daisy Series. Vintage Inspired Earrings

Finally I've made it! The idea to create this kind of earrings was in my heart (mind and shoulders, too:)) since last year, but unfortunately I never have enough time to make all what I wish (and need!)...

Here I've used clay cabochons and attached tiny flower petals and Swarovski rhinestones. The metal base is made from very old Vintage stamping tool and the ear-wires are Sterling Silver.

The Power of Love

I was creating the bracelet with roses - so I think Rose, the Queen of Flowers, represents us Love clearly - from its beginning (rosebuds) until full blossom. Love is like a flower: if you don't take care it will die... Love like a Rose has its prickles and greenness, beauty and sensitivity. It could make your day heavenly and it could bite you, too...

I've used seven deep pink pearly Fimo polymer clay (classic & effect) roses: largest is just a little bit under 1" in diameter (23/24mm), two roses are about half inch, two of them are a bit more than half inch. The rosebuds are about half inch tall. There are four veined rose leaves, too. The roses are centre drilled (except rosebuds) and attached with sterling silver headpins onto sterling silver filled chain. For roses I've used sterling silver oxidized and hand polished beadcaps. Also I've used Swarovski crystal Fuchsia bicones, Ink black rondelles and four big black onyx rounds. All findings are sterling silver.
